Dr. Chris Schenk
I grew up in the Edmonton area and graduated from Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 1992. I practiced in Alberta for nine years and then moved to Vernon in 2001. We love the Okanagan and aim to provide quality, compassionate veterinary care for your four-legged family members.
Louise here. Most of my work is done behind the scenes in the back office. My official title is Office Manager. That is short for helping out everywhere there is a need and dealing with issues related to the business aspect of running the clinic.
Hi! I’m Erica. I have always had a love for animals and after high school I decided to attend Thompson Rivers University and enrol in the Animal Health Technology program. Shortly after graduating, I moved to the Seattle area and worked in a small animal clinic for five years. After moving back to Vernon in 2003, I started working at Sunridge Veterinary Clinic where I love the variety that my job provides. No two days are the same!
Hi! I’m Marcelle. I attended U of A in Edmonton and received a BSc in Zoology, which I found very fascinating and challenging. My interest in animals led me to take Animal Health Technology at NAIT. I started in a small animal clinic in Edmonton and then moved to the sunny Okanagan with my family. I have been working at Sunridge Veterinary Clinic since 2006 and take great pride in looking after your pet and making their stay here as comfortable as possible. I love my job and all the interesting work we do here!
Hi, I'm Alisha! I have been a part of the Sunridge staff for quite a few years now. I graduated from the Veterinary Hospital Assistant program at the Centre for Arts and Technology in 2016. Animals have always been a huge part of my life and the fact that I get to work with them everyday is amazing. There are never two days that are exactly the same, and the learning is endless!
Hello, I'm Meagan. I first got to know the incredible group of staff at Sunridge Veterinary Clinic by volunteering at the clinic and I was thrilled when I was later offered a job as a veterinary office assistant. Being around animals has always brought me joy and it is a pleasure to be able to interact with and learn more about them daily at work. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my own pets and getting outdoors to enjoy the natural beauty of Okanagan.
